Ume Anambra is the Young Professionals Chapter of Umu Anambra Cultural Association, Bay Area.

The chapter was created to give younger members of the Anambra community a space of our own to connect socially, culturally and professionally, while remaining part of the wider UACA family.

The name Ume Anambra reflects what we hope this generation can be.

Ume means strength, energy and life.

Our parents and elders built a community that has kept Anambra people connected far from home. Our role is not to replace that community. It is to add our energy to it, learn from it, and make sure it continues.
